I admire and respect your work Gregor, think of you as a generous and intelligent guy. I hope to meet you one day. I don't do a lot of turtles myself these days, but there's a huge literature, many seriously mathematical yet playful things to do with them. They're not "just spirographs" (although they're good for that too).
