Hi everyone,
I have recently posted here about our work on teaching Python with
`TigerPython'. Would it be possible to add our work also to the
respective lists on the EDU-SIG webpage [1], please? The webpage
stated that any suggestions for modifications should be posted here.
Furthermore: are there any plans for updating the list of Learnign
Environments? It currently points to a Wiki, which comes with a note
that these pages are being archived and any modifications are
discouraged. Is there another, newer page for that?
We have been working on teaching materials and our IDE for Python
since 2012 and are still actively working on it (e.g. our latest
academic paper has been published about two months ago), i.e. we have
been around a while. During that time, we have helped promote
teaching Python at schools, particularly throughout Europe, and
produced a lot of free and open-source teaching materials.
It would be quite helpful for us if there could be a reference back to
our work from the `official Python site'. Perhaps a good starting
point would be our landing page:

In addition, as pointed out before, we published a number of academic
papers at ACM's SIG-CSE (Computer Science Education) conferences:

IDE for the Browser

Messages in Python

I have also written my PhD thesis on teaching Python, although it
might be slightly out of date by now:

Misconceptions and Creating a Development Environment

Kind regards
