kubuntu natty 64, same segmentation fault

~/.gimp-2.6 did not exist
however, it was possible to start gimp from terminal by using sudo

workaround described in #10 worked for me, and ~/.gimp-2.6 now exists 
however, warning still persists

no-arg, optional-arg or filename flags (8) on option of type 0
