I'd like to confirm the bug. Anki's website reports this as well [1]: "Note: if you're using a bleeding edge distro you may get a "no such module: exceptions" error, because SQLAlchemy in your distro is not compatible. You will need to uninstall the deb and install 1.2.9 from source, which contains a workaround for SQLAlchemy."
