HI Jorg,
I have installed it from the command given on the calibre website
sudo python -c "import sys; py3 = sys.version_info[0] > 2; u =
__import__('urllib.request' if py3 else 'urllib', fromlist=1);
exec(u.urlopen('http://status.calibre-ebook.com/linux_installer').read());
main()"

I have windows 7 operating system also and i am facing the same issue
over there too. I guess there is some parsing issue with the xml
specified in the recipe of indian express

And one more thing Jorg . Can you please tell me which attribute in the
recipe i should tweak so calibre doesnt download the images? Actually I
am new to this python language and its urgent. It would be really
helpful from your side.

Thanks
Ajay
