does edubuntu plan to include an attendance/student information
program? there are a few web-based administration systems (<a
href=''">http://www.miller-group.net/'>centre</a> and <a
href="" href="http://richtech.ca/openadmin/">http://richtech.ca/openadmin/"> open admin for
schools</a> for example), but these require a central server and
access to the internet to be used. for the sake of reliability
and for schools which have a less advanced network infrastructure it
would seem to be helpful to have a program which, at the very least,
could cache such data if the network wasn't immediately available.
