You are right. I shoud have installed the Workstation.
After your email I tried to install the workstation but I have the same problem, afetr installing the base system I have the black screen and can't see anything of what is happening. I do enter and everytime I do the red light flashes. Meaning that the keyboard is not blocked. But can't access a console or terminal on F2 or F3 or F1. I do have an Intel integrated Exterme Graphics card on my motherboard. I supose the problem is here. What else can I do? MAriana On 7/22/06, Susan Stewart <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

I do not have access to the keyboard (can't go to console). <snip> Might I inquire why you are doing the LTSP install? LTSP is used when you are booting thin clients from a central server. Since you are dual-booting, I think it's safe to guess that you meant to do a stand-alone installation of Edubuntu. Some good instructions (okay, I may be biased, I wrote them) for doing a stand-alone installation of Edubuntu can be found at: https://wiki.edubuntu.org/HowToCookEdubuntu/Chapters/StandAloneInstallation I hope that helps!
