Thanks for the work on these. I think there are some good elements here but it seem overall a bit too large in scope for the foreseeable future. I think it will take a least a couple releases to get that amount of work done. So it would probably be good to shrink stuff down a bit to what can be done for Karmic. For workline 1 I think that probably the wizards and LTSP stuff (mostly) is probably out of scope for Karmic. An application review and bug fixing/package maintenance are sorely needed. Pursuing a better delivery medium is also like to take a lot of resources for Karmic. For workline 2 there is a need for artwork. I would like to put age-appropriate artwork in each of the application bundles. In terms of documentation we have lots and lots of things that need to be done so I imagine that can take most of the Karmic time. As far as usability we could start looking into some usability studies. I like the way you pulled out the usage scenarios. I think perhaps the community should maybe go over those as a first step. You've listed five different ones. I'm concerned that that would be taking on too much, maybe it should be narrowed down to 2 or 3 as a first step? -Jordan -- edubuntu-devel mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/edubuntu-devel
