*Edubuntu Council Meeting | Friday the 5th June 2009*
*Agenda Item: Finalization of the Edubuntu strategy document* After 49 minutes of discussion, the conclusion was that the current document needs a little bit more work but will be finalized this week. Also, it was determined that task lists for the Karmic and Karmic+1 release may help in determining development direction. *Action items:* * finalize strategy document and send to relevant mailing lists/news sources * create Edubuntu 9.10 and 10.04 task list wiki pages *Agenda Item: Community Council Compliance* The Edubuntu teams and team structure has been modified a lot in the last few weeks as a part of re-energizing the community, and the Ubuntu Community Council has noticed the changes. The Edubuntu community would like to add stgraber to the Edubuntu Council so he will be introduced to the Community Council for approval. Edubuntu's future plans and Launchpad changes will be presented to the Community Council at their next meeting as well. *Action item:* * come up with reporting plans and keep the Community Council in the loop more with what's going on in the Edubuntu community. * send out an email to edubuntu-devel and edubuntu-users mailing lists announcing agenda items for both Community Council and Technical Board meetings so that Edubuntu'ers can cheer.
