Paul, I'm glad you've asked this as it's something I've been wondering, too. That is, is it easier to install Edubuntu and change the graphic look or install Ubuntu and setup LTSP. Thanks for documenting that here. I'd be eager to hear feeback from you after you've got this running. Also, I noticed the page you referenced had an update date of 10-10-06 so, is the version of LTSP this talks about the same as that used by Edubuntu 6.10? BTW, I wouldn't be too concerned about the "basic knowledge" comments. I've been working to figure this LTSP stuff, too and there's not much resource material available. O'Reilly needs to crank out an LTSP / MueCow admin book!

Unfortunately, every Linux distro seems to put there files in slightly (and sometimes not so slightly) different places. That kinda messes one around when you are new to Linux, no matter long you have been involved in IT. In my case 16 years but on mianframes. I post this here so that if anyone else is looking for this info one day they will find it when they follow this thread.
