You would need the "alternate install" CD if you wanted to install GRUB to 
anything besides (hd0), but other than that I think it should work fine, I 
believe. (I'll shortly be corrected if I'm wrong.)

Subject: Don't want to "Dual Boot"


Since I fried my "windows install" last time on tried this I'm a little gun-shy 
now of GRUB.  Can I do a hard drive install of Edubuntu but boot from a cd or 
better still a usb drive when I want to run it and then have windows boot 
normall when they are not inserted?
