I am setting up a lab of 25 desktops for my son's school. The default
install of edubuntu seems to be more targeted for K ->12 and our kids are
much younger.
I could not find any forums for edubuntu so I am subscribing to this list to
see if anyone can point me in the right direction.
1. Want to customize startmenu
- Remove items that are for K6 -> K12, just keep the K -> 3
stuff
- add more K -> 3 apps
- Just have a nice balance of math, reading, writing, science
apps
2. How to lockdown desktop and add profiles e.g.
- Administrator (root)
- Teachers (power users)
- Teachers (users)
- Students (users)
3. Best way to manage users, share user account or named accounts for
students?
