The following link describes installing 32-bit Firefox with Flash and Java on 64-bit machines. I can vouch for the first technique, as I've used it with success.

I used that technique to get Skype running. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=474790 I also remember an "ldd" command example being given. I'm not sure if it'll download/install 32-bit libraries, but it certainly looked promising. Maybe one of those techniques can help you.
