I'm in need of a bit of help. I have set up a server with a basically default install of edubuntu and my clients will boot just fine. The problem is linking the login process to active directory.
I am not the network guy for the district and know nothing about AD so this side of things is out of my hands. This did work last year with Suse so I know it can work. Are there any known issues with setting up AD or any "tricks" that if we knew them it would help? From what I can tell it is running but just won't connect. Each time we try it says something about getting an unexpected reply. I know that's kind of vague but any info you can supply would be greatly appreciated. Our wonderful edubuntu lab is just sitting there until this problem is solved. Thanks, Jim -- Please avoid sending me Word or PowerPoint attachments.
