I have some old computers lying around at home, and I wanted to be able
to use them as thin clients to the newer computer which is running the
beta version of Gutsy.
I installed the package
ltsp-server-standalone
and followed the instructions at
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ThinClientHowto
This had previously worked with Feisty, but now with Gutsy I get the
following error as I try to build the thin client in the
audio (29)
tty (5)
kmem (15)
disk (6)
adm (4)
shadow (42)
dhcp (101)
fuse (106)
utmp (43)
staff (50)
src (40)
mail (8)
klog (103)
Info: updating inetd config
and hangs there indefinitely. This bug on launcpad seems to be related,
but I do not understand what the workaround that would avoid this bug is
and I need to have my thinclients running as soon as possible. Can you
please suggest a workaround that I could use before the fix is released?
Thanks,
Hasan
