Hi All, Just to clarify, I am part of a project called eTux, http://etux.osrn.org.za/
I am a techie, I am trying to get teachers to give me material that they teach computers with here in Durban, South Africa, so that I can start some Generic Course Material ( GCM ), but I am finding it difficult. I will hopefully be seeing a teacher in KokStad ( aprox 270 Km from Durban ) in November, who I have heard is very keen to set up the Generic Course Material ( GCM ), I only started calling it that when I wrote the previous e-mail, could not think of any thing else. One of the apps that was asked for was reading software, and I think that the KidsOpenICDL would be great. What do you use it for? Learning to read and write with a computer? What else?
