My name is Qifeng Wang. You can call me Hank. I am doing a networking project
for a primary school and I am using Edubuntu 7.04 for the school network. At
the moment, the system works properly and effectively. However, I have a
question about backing up system by using command tar. It works find if system
is not crashed. But when I tried to use tar to back up system to a new hard
disk, it did not work. And I try to restore Grub by using an Edubuntu Live CD
and rebooted system. Still not help.
System says: /bin/sh: Can't access tty; job control turned off
I was really stuck. Do you have any ideas about this?
