The nomachine clients worked fine for me! The OS X client has some keyboard mapping issues, but the Windows client worked fine. Of course the freenx linux client also works great as well. I found that if you disable encryption then it probably won't work...so leave the encryption "on". I also got the nomachine Windows client to work fine on my Gutsy laptop running XP in VMWare. The Edubuntu server that I set FreeNX to run on is behind a firewall so I simply forwarded a non-standard port "2022" through to connect to port 22 on the Edubuntu server. Just needed to make sure to enter "2022" as the port along with the firewall's external address....into the client. Works great! David N.
