Just a follow-up on my upgrade problem: I usually download first all debs before upgrading using,
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -d With the texlive-latex-base_2007-10_all.deb problem, the download process doesn't entirely complete. After a few days, I tried the same process to continue whats left to download (usually it's the texlive-latex-base_2007-10_all.deb), however, apt-get seems to download again all the other packages! AFAIK, I never cleared my deb cache. Is there an expiry to the previously downloaded packages? cheers, maning On Fri, Mar 21, 2008 at 10:27 PM, Maning Sambale <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > did you then try continuing the download with: > > > > wget --continue > http://altruistic.lbl.gov/mirrors/ubuntu/pool/main/t/texlive-base/texlive-latex-base_2007-10_all.deb > > Yes, I gave up after 24 re-connections.
