Have tried to change the login screen on thin clients in edubuntu by using this formula:
sudo cp -r /opt/ltsp/i386/usr/share/ldm/themes/Edubuntu /opt/ltsp/i386/usr/share/ldm/themes/MyTheme sudo rm /opt/ltsp/i386/usr/share/ldm/themes/default sudo ln -s /opt/ltsp/i386/usr/share/ldm/themes/MyTheme /opt/ltsp/i386/usr/share/ldm/themes/default After doing this the thin clients only produce a gray screen with no icons, but the login still works. Searched the net for a fix for this, but no luck. Checked the permissions for the folder and files and they are the same as the original folder. (edubuntu) Tried to delete the symbolic link and set it back to the edubuntu folder with no luck, still the same error. Could someone that still have the login working please check where the symbolic link where supposed to point and post it here? I belive that the error is in the default link, not in the folders or permissions. Folder have permissions 755. Tried other combinations... The default link have permission 777, not possible to chmod. (btw... I'm a newbie to linux) -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Error-in-symbolic-link%2C-thin-client-logon-screen-tp16668838p16668838.html Sent from the edubuntu-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- edubuntu-users mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/edubuntu-users
