Ghido, Stop the LTSP DHCP server to avoid network problems: sudo /etc/init.d/dhcp3 stop
Configure your old DHCP server to point to your LTSP server for those clients requesting a PXE boot. It doesn't have to be a linux sever. On a Microsoft DHCP server you would add options 60, 66, and 67 for that subnet range as shown here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/259670 This site has good instructions for LTSP5 on Ubuntu 8.04 and 8.10: http://beginlinux.com/server_training/126-linux-terminal-server/1053-ltsp-on-ubuntu-804 I have successfully set up Edubuntu LTSP this way with a Cisco router acting as the DHCP server.
