I have updated my LTSP server, the thin client image and local apps to Jaunty, Open Office 3 on the local apps and so forth. This is all fine.
I did have a working high fat client system on 8.10 and later got the low fat version to work (on 8.10) I messed up this installation later on but with Jaunty coming up I decided to leave it broke. Now wishing to do some more tests on the fat client approach I have been trying to rebuild the image. The previous fat directory has been mv'd to get it out of the way. Running the Nubae script on 9.04 only gets this far: lectu...@ltsp:~$ sudo ltsp-build-client --chroot fati386 --fatclient Ubuntu --highfat NOTE: adding default dist and components to security mirror: http://security.ubuntu.com//ubuntu jaunty main restricted universe multiverse chmod: failed to get attributes of `Ubuntu': No such file or directory error: LTSP client installation ended abnormally The script ltsp-build-client is pretty long and I just about understand bits of it but do not feel up to poking around in there without some expert help. I have a spare box that I can re-install 8.10 on as a last resort but would rather find a 9.04 fix.
