Hello

Though it is a german-only solution it may be of interest for some who are
working in the education field.
LinuxAdvanced is a debian-based live-distribution developed on a austrian
school
from teachers for teachers. It can be installed, but is mainly designed to run
from a usb-stick without any need for installation. Starting vom DVD is also
possible. At the moment only the DVD image is available, but you can use this
to
create a bootable usb-stick.
The latest version has some new features. Frequently used application that
cannot be distributed because of license restrictions can be installed with
only
some clicks with the LA-Apps. Additional programms can be made persistent with
the LA-Snapshot function to be available after a restart. Beside this
LinuxAdvanced 9.1 is optimized for many netbooks.
It can be used at school and at home free of charge with and without
installation.
You can download LinuxAdvanced from <http://www.linuxadvanced.at>
