We have ltsp-pnp setup in one of our labs. We use ltsp-pnp because of the one NIC limitation, the use of a fat client, and because we are no longer allowed to run NAT'ed subnets on our campus network. So, the server talks to the campus network and has a public IP. The clients also speak to the campus network and get a public IP. The initial tftp run happens via dnsmasq on the server.
Does anyone know how to limit dnsmasq to offering boot images by mac addresses? We'd like to limit the pxeboot service to the lab computers only. cheers, Sameer -- Sameer Verma, Ph.D. Professor, Information Systems San Francisco State University http://verma.sfsu.edu/ http://commons.sfsu.edu/ http://olpcsf.org/ http://olpcjamaica.org.jm/ -- edubuntu-users mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/edubuntu-users
