Hi all

I've resolved this issue.

The issue seems to be that installing "edubuntu-desktop" on top of Ubuntu or Xubuntu and then changing the default language seems to cause a problem with languages in the Edubuntu packages

In other words....

Ubuntu install (language 1) > "edubuntu-desktop" > switch to language 2 = incomplete association of language 2 with edubuntu

Ubuntu install (language 2) > "edubuntu-desktop" = complete association of language with edubuntu

I'm setting up classroom labs of refurbished Pentium 4 computers with Xubuntu 12.04 in Spanish and have installed the "edubuntu-desktop" package.  I've noticed that GCompris is entirely in Spanish, that the TUX programs are partially in Spanish and that most of the other programs (Blinken, Clestia, Kalzium, Kbrinch, Khangman etc) are entirely English.  When I did similar set ups with Ubuntu 10.04 in the past I dont recall this happening

I've attempted reinstallation of both the language and edubuntu components.

Any ideas?
