Good Morning,

I'm having an issue with Flash crashing in Firefox on each of my LTSP servers.
Firefox and Flash are are up to date. Flash doesn't crash on all sites, just
the majority of them. I have purged flashplugin-installer in favor of the
adobe-flashplugin from the Canonical repos and am still experiencing the issue.
If I launch firefox from terminal (on thin client) and then access the
offending websites, I get the following errors.

###!!! ABORT: DRI2Connect: BadRequest (invalid request code or no such
operation): file
/build/buildd/firefox-24.0+build1/toolkit/xre/nsX11ErrorHandler.cpp, line 157

###!!! [Parent][RPCChannel] Error: Channel error: cannot send/recv

If I go to the server console and launch firefox from a terminal, I get

Failed to opem VDPAU backend libvdpau_nvidia.so: cannot open shared object
file: No such file or directory

but the sites with Flash work from the console. I believe this has something to
do with video drivers, but am not 100% sure. In the meantime, I have been
pushing users to use Chrome with built in Pepper flash player. This is working,
but Chrome seems to be slower than Firefox and I haven't been able to figure
out if I can do global settings on Chrome like I can using syspref.js in
Firefox. Ultimately, I just want to get Firefox and Flash working well again.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Regards,
Jeff
