The MAP, the Research Master in Metaphysics and Mind at USI, Lugano ( www.map.usi.ch), invites applications for a four-year grant for a doctoral student in Philosophy.
Starting date: March 1, 2020 (or as soon as possible thereafter) Application deadline: December 1, 2019 The doctoral student will work under the supervision of Prof. Kevin Mulligan and of a co-supervisor chosen among the professors teaching at the MAP (https://www.usi.ch/en/education/master/philosophy/professors). The candidate is also expected to undertake administrative tasks in support of the MAP and, more generally, in support of the academic initiatives of the Direction of the MAP. He/she will work as teaching assistant in courses at the MAP, helping in the preparation of teaching materials and tutoring students. Moreover, the candidate should present papers at scientific conferences and submit papers for publications in philosophy journals.
