Deadline for applications: - International: 31 May, 2020 (candidates who need a visa) - Others: August 31, 2020 The MAP programme: - teaching by some of the most renowned, leading figures in contemporary analytic philosophy. - focus on *metaphysics*, *philosophy of mind*, *ancient* and *medieval* *philosophy, logic and philosophy of science*. - research-oriented programme, aimed at preparing the students for the most demanding Ph.D. programmes around the world. - guarantees a *personal tutor*, who is one of the professors of this Masters programme and who provides: regular, one-on-one tutorials, feedback on written work and guidance about future academic careers. - based in Switzerland. Switzerland is committed to investing substantially in all areas of research, including philosophy, and USI provides assistance to applicants in taking advantages of the many opportunities to obtain research funding. In particular, merit-based scholarships and research student assistanships are available to students in the MAP programme. - is currently in its third year.
