The Master in Philosophy (MAP) at USI (Lugano) is happy to invite undergraduate and graduate students to our open lecture on November 27 from 3:30 pm to 5:15 pm CET (UTC+1).
The open lecture will be hosted by Achille Varzi (Professor of Philosophy<http://www.cc.columbia.edu/cu/philosophy> at Columbia University<http://www.cc.columbia.edu/>, New York) who is one of our visiting professors. The open lecture is born to be a safe and friendly room for every student who wants to embark on one of our classes. The audience will have the opportunity to be a MAP student for one day and experience the interactive MAP setting. The MAP will welcome you with the help of Professor Varzi in his course “Events, Tropes, Causation”. More information are available on the Facebook event: www.facebook.com/events/370891390810470<http://www.facebook.com/events/370891390810470>. You may want to let us know if you are interested or you will participate. The open lecture is going to be broadcasted both on Facebook and on Microsoft Teams. Keep in mind that Teams allows you to interact with Professor Varzi by asking him questions, while this is not possible on Facebook. To be added to the class on Teams, you can either send a message to our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/usimap<http://www.facebook.com/usimap> ), or write an email to [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> . Don’t miss the opportunity to discuss about events and holes with Professor Varzi! Furthermore, on December 11 we will broadcast a second open lecture. This time our Damiano Costa will be the lecturer. More Information about this second open lecture will be soon provided on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/usimap<http://www.facebook.com/usimap> ). -- https://www.vidal-rosset.net/mailing_list_educasupphilo.html
