Hi all:)

I decided today to update my LinkedIn profile and while looking up my paper for
the Open Education 2030 "Call for vision papers" I stumbled on this page: the
Open Education Europa gateway has now been officially launched.

I couldn't help whipping up a blog post about Wikipedia editing in the
classroom, here it is:

http://www.openeducationeuropa.eu/en/blogs/wikipedia-editing-easy-see-leaflet-poster-and-wizard-teaching-wikipedia

Hope you enjoy it! And also, hope the Wikimedia Education list members that
were recently asking for ideas on introducing Wikipedia editing to their
younger pupils find the links useful.

I strongly encourage list members from Europe to register and contribute to the
portal. Perhaps the site is open to non-Europeans as well, I'm not sure. It is
certain though that Wikimedia deserves to be well-represented on a European
initiative involving open education technologies: after all, that's what
Wikimedia Education is all about:-)

Best,

Mina
