Dear Mina, Thank you for replying, and I am also sorry to hear that you won't be able to be there for the pre-conference. Thank you for asking about notes. We have not yet established a system for note-taking and sharing afterwards, so I appreciate you reminding me. Some of the sessions are more focused on skill building (editing basics, for instance), and some will be more about sharing experiences. In short, not all will be equally well suited for note taking, but we will do our very best to be inclusive, even to those who are not there. At the very least, presentations used during the pre-conference will be uploaded to Commons so that others will be able to use them as well.
One event you may be able to be there for (depending on your time of arrival), will be the Education meetup <https://wikimania2015.wikimedia.org/wiki/Education_Meetup>. This will be a more informal get-together to meet others with experience and/or interest in education.
