Hello!

I'm excited to announce the newest addition to the education team here at
the Foundation, Nichole Saad. Nichole started last week, and going forward
will be the team's main point of contact for the Asia region as well as
managing our team's communications work.

Here's a snippet about Nichole

Hello! I'm excited to meet you all! As an educator, I'm thrilled to be part
> of the Wikimedia Foundation, whose work has contributed to improving access
> to knowledge worldwide. My own work is fueled by the theory that improving
> the access to and quality of education globally is the key to a more
> prosperous and peaceful world, and I'm eager to begin work as the new
> Program Manager on the Education Team!
>
> Before joining the Wikimedia Foundation, I worked as an education
> professional in seven countries in diverse roles. Most recently I was based
> in Jordan as an Associate Project Officer with UNESCO, working on the
> educational response to the Syrian refugee crisis. Throughout these
> experiences I’ve been very interested in how innovative technological
> solutions can be used to provide quality education to the most
> marginalized, and can’t wait to explore this further here!

Please join me in welcoming Nichole to the foundation. Feel free to reach
out here, directly over email ([email protected]) or on her talk page
