Nichole, however I may understand that you were busy, someone really could have given the go-ahead. I think I recall seeing several drafts in the Newsroom and then when I looked again they weren't there. As this was not the way I recall things working in the previous issues, I drew the conclusion that the Newsletter had reverted to the quarterly format.
As I have obtained parental consent forms for uploading photos of my students, and they will be disappointed if they are not included in this newsletter (by June newsletter I meant the one with May news to be released in June and not the June news to be released in July), please wait until a little later when I will upload the draft I have prepared before releasing the Newsletter. There is a 10 hour time difference between Greece and San Francisco so I think this is the least I could expect of the person in charge of the Wikipedia in Education newsletter. Thanks, expecting a positive reply. This has been an especially busy and travel filled month. However,* please understand that you may submit your article to the newsroom at any time*. As long as your article is submitted before the deadline, it will make it into that month's issue. The issue for May will go out today. You have until June 20th to submit your article for the June newsletter, and I encourage you to do so. The submission deadline for each month's newsletter is the *20th of the month*. Kindly check the publication guidelines <https://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Education/News/Publication_Guidelines> for all the relevant information on how the newsletter is published each month. Each month, if you submit in the Newsroom <https://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Education/Newsletter/Newsroom> by the deadline, your article will be published. Finally, if you need an extension on the deadline, kindly reach out to me and I will see if we have the bandwidth to accommodate your request. Most likely we will. Thank you for your email, and for your contributions to our community newsletter. I hope I have clarified how you can participate. all the best, Nichole On Sun, May 28, 2017 at 11:53 PM, Mina Theofilatou <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello all:) > > I have been waiting for an email or Meta post inviting editors to submit > stories for the June Wikipedia in Education Newsletter.
