Also, just notes about what else is needed:
The old circle()'s smarts w.r.t. not going more than once around is
needed, too. Or maybe it should go around so students can see that
moving at a radius of R for 720 degrees is the same as going around
twice?
Respect should be made of the degree setting, too.
The above draws a partial circle with better resolution than the
equivalent portion of a circle that would have been drawn if the whole
circle (and not just a portion) had been drawn. That should be fixed if
it were to be used; but as I note, I think it would be better to figure
out what angular resolution to use so a relatively smooth circle would
be drawn. e.g. the angle needed to give h = 1% of the window size
