Howdy, While we have not officially released the Catalog Service <https://github.com/edx/course-discovery/>, we recognize that there are a few early adopters making use of it. I write to let you know that we recently merged a commit that squashes many of the migrations. If you are an early adopter, please pull the tag release-2016-11-04 <https://github.com/edx/course-discovery/releases/tag/release-2016-11-04> and run migrations before pulling any later releases. Failure to do so may cause issues with future migrations.
After running migrations, you should see a few new rows in the django_migrations table that include the names of the squashed migration files. We are excited that many of you are interested in the Catalog Service and anxious to start using it. We are working to get it into the Ficus release, and will keep you updated on that development.
