Hey folks, I've published a second draft of OEP-12, our proposal for building pluggable user interfaces for edX:
https://github.com/edx/open-edx-proposals/pull/34 There was a lot of great feedback from the first draft, and in particular we have now settled upon an approach we're calling Django Component Views (rather than the previous design that had us building upon XBlocks). I've added more use cases, more technical details, and also links to the recent hackathon project where Christina Roberts and I built working prototypes of each of the use cases.
