Hi,

Currently edX uses Backbone for both Studio and the LMS:

http://edx.readthedocs.io/projects/edx-developer-guide/en/latest/user_interface_development.html#use-backbone-to-build-your-new-ui

We are starting the transition to using React, which is described in our
technology standards OEP:

http://open-edx-proposals.readthedocs.io/en/latest/oep-0011.html

I hope this helps.
