I am really sorry too late to respond.
I checked the camera on your program but I could'nt got any pics on my eee.
(file was created but it is "0" byte file and could'nt be seen any pics)
I would be glad you would check attached file about the messages 
"./my_capture_cam_eeepc -check")

And I tried to ekiga using my camera,it doesn't work.ekiga got hung up 
again:
Perhaps checking the message,Eee 900-X for japanese Edition is much 
different the one for Europians
- it has SLC-based SSD and different USB camera.
