Casting changes for Earth: Final Conflict?

Could there be some changes in Earth: Final Conflict's future? Two independent sources on the set tell SyFy World that the return of Robert Leeshock to the series next season is "shaky." The show is taking a new direction, and Robert is looking to move on, said a source. If he comes back next year, I would be very surprised. This report, of course, is not confirmed, and SyFy World is waiting to hear if Leeshock or a spokesperson are willing to confirm or deny the rumor. Also, details of the fourth season finale, "Point of No Return," is now available. The synopsis is described as, "The Taelons' fate -- and possible Liam's -- is decided after Liam and Renee find Ma'el's regeneration chamber."

Fire theatens Earth: Final Conflict set 03-29-2001

A fan from Earth: Final Conflict known as Ka'el posted a report to several official fan club mail lists this week reporting a six-alarm fire that occured Monday in an old tannery building next to the Earth: Final Conflict sets in Toronto. The tannery was part of a turn-of-the-century industrial area of the city, an area mostly taken over by the influx of television shows moving to film there, earning the name of "studio lane" by locals. No one was hurt in the fire, but it did come dangerously close to the production office which contains the sets for Da'an's Washington embassy office, the mothership, Augur's "lair," Renee Palmer's office at Doors International and others.
