Your argumentation why to introduce another test framework and why one can't replace the other should go here as well. To some degree it was in the cover letter, but here it would be easier to find later on via git. BUT: You do not explain to us anywhere why installing bats from a distro, Debian or Ubuntu in CI, is not sufficient. Why do we need to import it?
