And here as well. I am currently running 1.1r8 on a 450Mhz system and it's doing great. But trying to setup 2.0 on other legacy (PIII 600 / 512M) hardware is not possible without getting "tricky"...
...and how I got tricky was to do the initial setup on a machine that did boot from the cd and then move the drive over to the legacy system for first boot. Although it did work - there seemed to be some other issues with my hardware and the box locking up after a few hours. Thus, it was not exactly successful...and probably not a recommended strategy. If you do try this method and your setup is stable, please let me know, I'm not exactly sure which piece of the puzzle to suspect is the problem. -J ettober wrote: >Hi, >same issue here..
