Just to be clear on my settings: (as in previous mail I have specified a 
different gateway...)
default gateway is the internal ip of the modem (10.0.0.138) and my 
public ip is assigned to the red astaro nic.

Does this help? The modem (speedtouch 510) is setup in the so called 
SIP_SPOOF configuration. (to be able to assign public ip to a pc instead 
of the modem) See http://jp.dhs.org/~jp/ This page is in dutch, but I 
can translate it if you want.
