well.. the boot time is not the best. but 20 min's is too much, there
must be something wrong with your hardware. (dma problems?)
on our mini appliance the firewall boots within about 3-4 mins.

the boot time is so high because each of our services trigger his own
dependencies and this causes services to restart multiple times, since
some services have the same dependencies.
we already once before a while begun to speed it up, but ended in a
complete failure, so we better let it working and slow for now.

to handle this in a smarter way we need to do a huge clean refactoring
of the current rc system in order to knock out the old lfs stuff and to
implement a smarter dependency processing. this is already planned but
on hold because of other more important items on our todo.
