First of kudos to the development team on what looks
like a great product. I've only been working with EFW
for about a week now but it appears to have alot of
the features that I've been missing with Smoothwall.
I'm trying to convince the company I just started
working for to replace the 3 machines (Mikrotik
router, DansGuardian, Snort) at our client's locations
with EFW. If we do hopefully they'll see value in the
product and donate.

OK, on to my questions. The documentation states that
the RED interface supports multiple IP addresses but
doesn't state how to add them. How do we add multiple
IPs to the red interface?

The IPSec VPN Net-to-Net connection has a setting for
"left/right" and the documentation states that the
chosen side must also be used on the remote
configuration as well. The Mikrotik routers we use
have VPN capabilities but make no mention anywhere of
right or left? We've been trying to get the EFW to
talk to our Mikrotiks but have had no luck, any
suggestions?

SNMP, how could a product as powerful as this not have
SNMP support built in? I followed the directions found
in a thread here to add SNMP support and could access
it on the GREEN interface but could never access it on
the RED interface even when I added a rule to the
external access list. Also the SNMP service would quit
after a couple minutes and couldn't be accessed from
either interface.

I've been using the following SNMP agent to monitor
our Linux servers (http://www.linuxmonitor.com/) but
am unable to get it installed on EFW. Anybody with
more Linux experience feel like tackling this?

Think that's about it, thanks again for a great
product.
