Amavis is the glue layer that feeds mail from postfix to spamassassin/clamav 
without Amavis no spam or virus scanning will take place. I'm not sure if you 
can turn it off completely from the gui. You can try turning off content 
filters, antivirus, file extension, and see if your mail goes through. But at 
the point the question is why bother having the smtp proxy at all, pipe port 25 
into the internal mail server and be done with it.
