I installed FC2 a few years back on a couple of g3 models and I seem to remember something funky about teh CpqArray controller but I can't remember what it was. HP sure has few drivers listed on the support page http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/locate/1116_6011.html And in typical fashion they offer binary only compiled for specific kernels. My advice is try to work with Grub and see what it is trying to do. Grab the Grub howto and figure out how to enter command mode. See if you can get it going from there or at least figure out why it is dying. Endian is based on a RHEL 4.4 kernel which it looks likes HP is not supporting yet :) so you may be out of look as far as their driver disks go. Also the installer that Endian uses is not as smart as Anaconda [but it probably way easier to work with, if heard nightmare stories about Anaconda].
