I use a workarround.
Because the saslauthd ldap support is available, i modified the
/etc/sysconfig/saslauthd:
-------
SOCKETDIR=/var/spool/postfix/var/run/saslauthd
MECH='ldap -O /etc/saslauthd_ldap'
FLAGS=' -n 5'
--------
And the saslauthd_ldap file has:
ldap_servers: ldap://ldapserver/
ldap_search_base: dc=domain,dc=com
ldap_scope: sub

Im having troubles getting the authentication from our Imap server, Dovecot.
When Endias try to do the auth it gets:
auth failure: [user=pbruna] [service=smtp] [realm=] [mech=rimap]
[reason=[ALERT] Unexpected response from remote authentication server]
any ideas?
