Hi to all, sorry for my bad English but i will try to post my problem.
I have a 3COM Internet Server model 3C19504 (more info here:
http://www.rath.ca/Misc/3Com-3C19504/index.shtml) and I have installed EFW
Community and all works fine. After this firewall I have a SBS 2003 and a
linux box RH9. All these PC (EFW included) are attached to an APC Smartups
1400. The serial cable is connected to SBS 2003 (Powerchute business edition
basic 7.0.5) and the shutdown process begin with a script (.CMD) to
power-off EFW and Linux box first and then the SBS2003. For EFW and LINUX I
use Plink.exe in SSH session and this works great:

for EFW I use something like this:
c:\shutdown\plink.exe -ssh -P 22 -pw XXXXXXXXX [EMAIL PROTECTED]
/sbin/shutdown -h now

MY PROBLEM IS:
the EFW power off!!!!! I don't want that, I want that the firewall unmounts
correctly the HDD and stops all services, but if it powers off completly
than the APC will not be able to power on it because in the BIOS I can only
choice: "last state" or "always off". For example in Ipcop firewall or RH 9,
at the end (after stopped all services and unmounted the HDD), it writes me
"power down" but the PC is still on so when the APC restarts itselve after
power restore itis able to power on all PC attached.

Helppp, someone is able to help me, what have I to modify in the
firewall????

Thank u very much

Patrick
