Dy-J,
I had the same problem. I also had the 'browser check' turned on, and was
validating that the browsers were IE, Netscape, or Firefox. I disabled this
check, and the AVG update process started working again. I am not sure what
browser type AVG has embedded in it, but I know it isn't one of the three
above. I hope that helps.

Also how will I look at looks that are being rejected by the firewall.. I
can only on the log those who are accepted.. sorry for this question but im
just newbie on this firewall thanks
