Hello. Yesterday i installed Endian Firewall community edition 2.1. All the
installation was succesful. I configured only two networks for practising
(Green and Blue). Well, here is my question. I will be glad if somebody can
help me with this:
With the endian default configuration, after configuring the interfaces, i
enabled http proxy "enabled on green". Well, i configured my Firefox for
this (ip and port 8080) and everything was going correct. Later, i activated
"transparent on green" too. Well, after reconfiguring my Firefox settings
(cancelling ip and port 8080), my browser in unable to reach internet. From
where do you think things are coming wrong? i repeat. All the Endian
configuration is the default it gives us after a standar instalation
(Firewall default rules and so on). By the other way, with the options
"enabled on green", "content filtering" and "Antivirus enabled", everything
works correctly (until now :-) ).
